About Remnants Royal Family

RRF Team in a past event

Remnants Royal Family Community Based Organization (RRF) is more than just an organization; it is a sanctuary born from profound loss and fueled by unwavering love. Established in 2024, RRF is dedicated to supporting and uplifting individuals grappling with the harsh realities of life – poverty, addiction, depression, rejection, and despair. Our mission, as outlined in our Constitution, is to provide various forms of assistance, invaluable companionship, and guidance to those often overlooked by society, whom we affectionately and honorably refer to as "remnants." We believe deeply that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, possesses inherent worth and deserves to be treated with the dignity and respect befitting royalty. RRF strives to be a testament to resilience, community, and the enduring power of compassion in action.

Our Mission and Approach: Practical Support, Lasting Companionship

RRF is committed to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by the less fortunate in our communities. Our primary focus, as stated in our Rules & Regulations, is supporting individuals battling addiction (alcohol or drugs), struggling with poverty, or experiencing depression and isolation.

Our approach is twofold:

  1. Practical Assistance: We understand the immediate burden of scarcity. Through regular outreach events, held quarterly, we provide essential aid such as food donations and other necessities. Our first major outreach took place on February 22, 2025, journeying to a village in Murang’a, Kenya, to support families ravaged by alcoholism, offering tangible help and a message of hope.
  2. Companionship and Guidance: Beyond material aid, RRF offers the invaluable gifts of companionship, ongoing support, and guidance. We are establishing systems for continuous follow-up, ensuring that individuals feel seen, heard, and supported beyond singular events. We aim to foster a genuine sense of belonging, creating a community built on mutual respect, kindness, and dignity, where every voice matters.

Core Activities and Impact: Community in Action

RRF operates with structure and purpose, guided by its Constitution and Rules & Regulations:

  • Regular Outreach: Every three months, we organize events to meet and assist our target beneficiaries directly, providing essential goods and fostering connections (as seen in the provided event images).
  • Ongoing Support: We are committed to developing and maintaining systems for continuous follow-up and support beyond the main events.
  • Structured Governance: An elected Executive Committee (Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and three additional members) manages day-to-day operations, finances, and event organization, ensuring decisions align with the CBO's mission.
  • Collaborative Meetings: General meetings are held monthly (constitutionally mandated) or twice per month (operational goal from rules), providing a platform for discussion, planning, and ensuring all members contribute to decision-making. Communication primarily occurs through official channels like WhatsApp and social media, governed by clear guidelines.
  • Financial Accountability: RRF maintains a bank account, provides financial reports at general meetings, operates on an approved annual budget, and requires membership approval for significant expenditures, ensuring transparency.

The impact of RRF transcends material aid. It serves as a lifeline for those feeling invisible, affirming their inherent worth and reminding them that they are not mere "remnants," but royalty in the eyes of a community that cares. Each act of service honors Levis's vision, weaving his dream into the fabric of countless lives.

Membership and Community: Joining the Family

Membership in RRF is open to all individuals who support our mission and agree to abide by the constitution and rules. Members are the lifeblood of our organization and are expected to:

  • Actively Participate: Engage in group activities, events, and meetings.
  • Contribute Financially (If Able): A modest compulsory contribution of 300 KSH monthly helps sustain our operations and outreach efforts. We recognize financial constraints and expect payment only from those who are able.
  • Uphold Our Values: Adhere to the Code of Conduct, promoting respect, dignity, and confidentiality.
  • Wear the Identity: Purchase and own an official RRF T-shirt (polo or round neck) to represent the group during activities.
  • Foster Community: Contribute positively to the growth and impact of the organization, treating everyone with respect and avoiding internal borrowing or soliciting personal favors.

Membership can be revoked for violating rules or conduct detrimental to the organization, ensuring the integrity and safety of the community.

Guiding Principles: Our Foundation

RRF operates on a clear set of principles enshrined in our Constitution and Rules & Regulations:

  • Respect and Dignity: All members, beneficiaries, and the public must be treated with respect and dignity.
  • Confidentiality: The personal information and situations of beneficiaries and members must be kept confidential.
  • Integrity: Members shall not use their position for personal gain, and any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
  • Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Respectful Communication: All communication within RRF channels must be respectful, relevant to CBO activities, and free from spam, abuse, divisive content (like tribalism or pornography), or inappropriate language. Privacy must be respected at all times.
